The owner of the Carlâs Jr. property is weighing new tenants or redevelopment, while a door notice announces Zataâs closure.
The Carlâs Jr. at 1400 Foothill Blvd. has officially closed, and the property owner is considering what comes next for the site.
According to an email from Director of Community Development Eric Scherer, the owner had been aware of the Carlâs Jr. franchiseeâs bankruptcy filing and anticipated regaining control of the building as late as November. La Verne Daily News could not verify before publication whether this location was part of the bankruptcy filing.
The owner is considering finding long-term tenants for the vacant buildings or redeveloping that portion of the property, which includes the former Rite Aid.
No plans have been finalized.
Zata Healthy Mediterranean closed until further notice
Zata Healthy Mediterranean, 1548 Foothill Blvd., is closed until further notice, according to a notice posted on the restaurantâs door.
No additional information about the closure was immediately available.
