Friends of the La Verne Library
Donate new or nearly new books Tuesday-Saturday during normal library hours. All proceeds fund programs at the La Verne Library.
GFWC La Verne-San Dimas Woman's Club
This local chapter of the international philanthropic General Federal of Women's Clubs supports other nonprofits such as Sowing Seeds For Life, Shepherd's Pantry, House of Ruth, Inland Valley Humane Society, Shoes That Fit, For Goodness Cakes, Eye-DAS, Ronald McDonald House, City of Hope, and more by fundraising and volunteering our time and efforts. Hillcrest Thrift Store

All revenue generated by our Thrift Store goes directly to the Hillcrest Benevolence Funds, which include the Benevolent Fund and the Good Samaritan Fund. These funds are designated to support the needs of Hillcrest residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their resources.
The Good Samaritan Fund specifically bridges the gap between the cost of providing skilled nursing care and the reimbursement offered by Medi-Cal. This fund enables Hillcrest to serve not only its residents but also older individuals in the broader community who are on Medi-Cal.

Venezuela Earthquake Relief Fund
The Jewish Federations of North America have established the Venezuela Earthquake Relief Fund to provide urgent humanitarian assistance and support recovery efforts following two devastating earthquakes that caused widespread destruction and loss of life.
Through trusted global partners, relief efforts are already underway, providing emergency food, temporary shelter, and other essential aid to affected families and the Venezuelan Jewish community. Your support helps ensure critical resources reach those in need as rescue and recovery efforts continue.

- Meals on Wheels: Delivers hot lunches to homebound seniors in the San Dimas/La Verne area.

- Inland Valley Hope Partners Food Bank: This local food bank is in need of water, socks, gloves, small rain ponchos and blankets. Other needs include food items that do not require cooking or refrigeration, and fresh fruit is always welcome.
